Steffani Jemison at Lafayette Anticipations, Paris
Artist Steffani Jemison is casting a performer for a new language and movement-based work.
We seek someone who is comfortable working improvisationally and imaginatively with language and the voice, drawing from lived experience as a black/brown person.
The performer should also be comfortable moving with a partner, including physical contact. Formal dance training optional.
Requirements and schedule:

Valid passport

One in-person rehearsal in NYC December 1 - 10

Three in-person rehearsals in NYC December 10 - 18

Available to travel to Paris January 3-14
- Flight and Paris accommodations (nearby the rehearsal and performance site) provided

Five in-person rehearsals in Paris (tentatively: January 5, 7, 9, 10, 12)

One 30m performance (January 13)
Compensation:

$200 each for ten rehearsals in NYC and Paris

$500 performance fee

Per diem for Paris days provided
